Hayao Hora

Before becoming Senior Advisor of All Nippon Airways in October 2007, Mr. Hayao Hora had served as an official in the Japanese government for more than 34 years. Mr. Hora joined the Ministry of Transport in 1971. Since joining the ministry, he has been assigned to various positions related to transportation issues. He was Director of Aviation Industries Division, Civil Aviation Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism from 1993 through 1994. He was Director-General, Civil Aviation Bureau MLIT from 2002 through 2003. He played a leading role as a Vice-Minister for International Affairs, MLIT from 2003 through 2005.

Mr. Hora graduated from the University of Tokyo with a Bachelor of Law in 1971.
