| Akira Yamaji
Akira Yamaji is Vice President at ANA Strategic Research Institute Co., Ltd. Furthermore, he is also part-time Lecturer at Aoyama Gakuin University, Economics beginning in April 2007.
Headed by President and CEO Mr. Kenichiro Hamada, ANA Strategic Research Institute Co., Ltd. was established on April 3, 2006 from a former department within ANA. Its mission is to explore and nurture new possible systems and structures for the Group beyond 2015 in terms of internal corporate culture and also the public face of the Group. It will also research new ways of heightening customer satisfaction for the Group. Its activities will include research on the aviation industry and future trends, political, economical, cultural, sociological, scientific research and future trends, and strategic planning and consulting for air transport management and marketing, etc.
Since he joined ANA in 1974, Mr. Yamaji has held various positions including Director, International Marketing Department, Vice President, Alliances, Vice President, Sales and Marketing Division.
Mr. Yamaji graduated from Doshisha University with a Bachelor of Law in 1974 and received a Master of Business Administration in 1980 from US Embry Riddle Graduate School.
