| Julie Oettinger
Julie Oettinger is currently the Managing Director for International and Regulatory Affairs at United Airlines based in Washington, D.C.
Prior to joining United Airlines, Dr. Oettinger held the position of Assistant General Counsel at US Airways from 1998 to 2002 where she was primarily responsible for all international legal affairs and domestic international regulatory matters. From 1990 to 1998 and then again from 2002 to 2003, Dr. Oettinger was Attorney Advisor in the Legal Advisor’s Office at the U.S. Department of State. In this capacity, she held various positions including Legal Advisor to the aviation negotiation team and Special Assistant to the Under Secretary for International Security Affairs from 1995 to 1996. Furthermore, Dr. Oettinger was Legal Advisor at the U.S. Embassy Panama from 1992 to 1994.
Dr. Oettinger received a B.A. in 1982 from Tufts University and a J.D. in 1986 from the University of Michigan.
