Hayao Hora

Hayao Hora is Senior Vice President, All Nippon Airways (ANA), taking in charge of International & Regulatory Affairs and Facilities. Before he joined to the ANA in October 2007 as Senior Advisor, Mr. Hora had served as an official in the Japanese government for more than 34 years. He joined the Ministry of Transport, currently the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) in 1971. Since joining the ministry, he has been assigned to various positions related to transportation issues. He was Director of Aviation Industries Division, Civil Aviation Bureau from 1993 through 1994. He was Director-General, Civil Aviation Bureau from 2002 through 2003. He played a leading role as a Vice-Minister for International Affairs from 2003 through 2005.

Mr. Hora graduated from the University of Tokyo with a Bachelor of Law in 1971.
