About the Hitachi DS-110E-W
 The Hitachi DS-110E-W is an Explosives Trace Detection (ETD) System for baggage or parcels screening at airports or other important facilities. The DS-110E-W is the first ETD applying Mass Spectrometry (MS) certified by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration.

 Hitachi’s R&D efforts on MS technologies application gave birth to the DS-110E. With MS technologies, Hitachi, Ltd. has developed methods of detecting dioxin precursor, illegal drugs, chemical gases and explosives. The Certification by TSA means that Hitachi’s outstanding technology for explosives detection has been globally recognized as practical technology.
