Masayuki Nomura
Executive Vice President and General Manager, Solution Business Division NTT Communications Corporation
Dr. Masayuki Nomura is Executive Vice President and General Manager of Solution Business Division, and has the responsibility for providing total solutions to the customers. He has been directing NTT Communications' IP service planning, Internet service and development after spinning off from NTT and established IP-VPN which is MPLS-VPN based network as well as Wide Area Ethernet which is provided by layer 2 Ethernet switch as the leading service in Japan.
Since joining Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation in 1973, Dr. Nomura has been active in the research anddevelopment of packet switching systems, multimedia-related services, and in the international standardization of X.25 and X.400.
Dr. Nomura earned his BS degree of Mechanical Engineering from Keio University and master degree of Mathematical Sciences from Nagoya University. He was also given doctor degree of telecommunication from Keio University.
