Kenji Nagamatsu
President, Japan International Transport Institute
Kenji Nagamatsu is the Senior Representative of the Japan International Transport Institute. Mr. Nagamatsu joined the Ministry of Transport in 1984 and was assigned to the Civil Aviation Bureau. After having served in various positions in the Japanese government, he was appointed to his current position in July 2002.
He worked with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to establish the Japan-United States Transport Security Forum to facilitate dialogue between the governments of both nations. He has been conducting research and analysis on all modes of transportation including transportation security.
