  Yasuhiro Daisho

Professor School of Engineering, Waseda University

Yasuhiro Daisho is a professor and head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Waseda University located in Tokyo.

While working at the university, he is also serving in various leadership roles in many different organizations. He is the Director of the International Division and the Chairperson of the Diesel Engine Division at the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan. Also, he serves as the Director of the Japan Automobile Research Institute. He is currently a member of the Central Environmental Council, the Council of Transport Policies, and the Committees for Next Generation Vehicles and Fuels.

Dr. Daisho earned his undergraduate, graduate and doctorate degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Waseda University.
